Karen has lived in Ft. Walton Beach since 1962. Her father was stationed at Eglin AFB and her mother worked for the City of Ft. Walton Beach. Karen has 2 daughters who are married to military men and 1 son who was also in the military.
She previously worked for the same construction company full time from 1977 – 2009 (32 years) and part time for them from 2009 until recently. She started as a receptionist and to date she now does construction estimating and holds a Certified General Contractors License from the State of Florida.
Karen is now enjoying her new position (still in the construction industry) as a showroom assistant at Kitchen & Bath Center.
