It's Time to Dust It Up for Bikes or Bust

We know that home improvements are a bit of hassle, especially around the holidays. But this year, we’re challenging anyone who’s been thinking about starting a home improvement project big or small to commit to making their dream a reality before November 30. Yes, you’ll have to endure the construction dust, but in return you’ll help make a child’s dream in Okaloosa County come true for the holidays.

Kitchen and Bath Center will donate one to two new bikes for the Emerald Coast Toys for Tots program for any new renovation contracts signed between now and November 30. Anything from a tub to shower conversion to kitchen countertops to renovating an entire room of your home counts.

Last year, Kitchen and Bath Center donated over 100 bikes and 50 helmets to the Bikes or Bust effort, hosted by Highway 98.1 Country. This year, it hopes to hit 150 bikes and 75 helmets.

“We just want to encourage everyone in the community to come out and improve their homes and at the same time give back to the community,” said Kitchen and Bath Center Project Manager, Adam Watkins.

No home improvement project on the horizon? That’s okay, you can still join the effort. All five Kitchen and Bath showroom locations will be accepting donations of bikes, helmets or cash for the community fundraising effort. The bikes and helmets will be delivered to the Uptown Station parking lot in Fort Walton Beach between November 29 and December 3.

Let’s all do our part to help Bikes or Bust hit its goal of 3,000 bike donations this year.

Dust settles, we don’t.
